Intro to Permaculture Course
Everything you need to know to gain the confidence to grow your own food and live the simple self-sufficient life!
Are you frustrated with the daily grind? Looking to start up your own farm, or simply grow more of your own food?
Are you feeling unwell, stressed and overwhelmed by the state of the world and want to get off the treadmill to live a simple, meaningful life?
Permaculture has the answers you need with practical step-by-step SOLUTIONS to these problems. Unlike other environmental studies which focus on the doom and gloom of today's climate, permaculture offers solutions and optimistic approaches to improving the land, your health and your well being.
If you've wanted to learn more about growing food in a sustainable, healthy way that is chemical-free but don't want to spend more than $40,000 for a horticultural degree, permaculture can help!
This Introductory course is roughly 18hrs worth of content and consists of the first three units from the Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) Course. It is your opportunity to learn all of the basics and groundwork for a very reasonable price. If you want to dive deeper and learn the specifics on designing in every climate on earth, regenerating soil, developing earthworks, or water harvesting, you can simply apply this course to other modules of the PDC course, or the certification itself. It's that simple!
Ready to boost your confidence in your self-sufficiency skills? Then let's begin!
I'm Jenine Kozey, a knitting, woodworking physicist who has a passion for edible and medicinal plants and all things to do with nature and the outdoors! I'm a bit of a Jack-of-all-trades having made everything from homemade cosmetics to tasty foraged meals and my own off-grid cabin. I'm notorious for trying new things, making mistakes, and helping others learn from them! I spend most of my life outdoors on my farm with my husband, four boys and my chickens. I love adventure, travel and helping others to heal and grow.
A perpetual learner and avid reader, I take numerous courses each year to hone my expertise. I have completed my Permaculture Design Certificate Course, Earthworks Course, Reading the Landscape Course and Plant Spirit Medicine Course, Advanced Herbalism Course, Astro-herbalism among many others.
I teach the Permaculture Design Certificate Course, host various plants walks and teach workshops on rainwater harvesting, raising chickens, preserving food, gardening by the moon, self-healing seminars, and many other topics (both online and in-person).
I appreciate each and every enrolment I receive as it helps me to learn what gaps I have in my understanding, and provides me the opportunity to meet wonderful, like-minded souls. If you feel like taking my courses is of benefit to you, I would love to meet you and have you on the journey!
All the best!
